The USA’s largest international airlines are Delta Air, Continental Airlines, United Airlines, Northwest Airlines and American Airlines, with companies offering flights from a number of worldwide destinations. Prices vary, but can be as low as £250 return to New York from some operators. A number of other operators from around the world offer flights to the country, and most major international airlines run regular flights to the country. Flights from London to Washington DC take approximately eight hours and 25 minutes, and to New York takes around seven hours and 50 minutes. America’s numerous international airports offer taxis, coach and bus services into town and facilities include restaurants, banks, bureau de changes and post offices, amongst other things.
